Shirley Capaldo has always demonstrated a passion for improving the lives of the people around her. She has been a resident of Jersey City for over a decade. Though young and only in her formative years she had applied all possible ways to parry every attack and be consistently motivated to sustain her journey.

In May of 2014, she was inducted to the National Society of Leadership and Success. Later on that year, she received her degree in Psychology from Hudson County Community College.

She continues to provide leadership by partnering with a plethora of community service initiatives, which include being a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters, a Board Trustee for the Family Metropolitan Health Network, an advocate for American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and a County Committee Member for her district in Jersey City. She believes in living life to the fullest and in learning the flexibility to adapt to any situation. She recently got crowned Miss Fashion Week Jersey City in 2018 and uses her title as leverage to voice her concerns.

One day she wants to start her own non-profit organization to help those in similar situations she once struggled through. Ultimately, Shirley hopes to be a role model to women and youth, providing hope and inspiration without the fantasy of perfection.

I am Cecile Erana, my family and friends call me Ces. A mother of 3 children who works at Robinsonsons Land Corporation as International Area Group Manager. I find

joy in the little things, especially my family. I have a very bonded family. We spend most of my free time from work together. I also always make sure to make time for them even with a busy schedule. Traveling to different countries has always a dream for me. When I first got a job in sales, that’s when I was able to be one step closer to my dreams. I was able to travel, work and earn for my family and I. I always believed that there are no easy things in this world, there will always be hardships. That’s why when the world gets tough, change yourself to be stronger
