“We are grateful about Philippine Day (referring to the Taste of the Philippines), the food is amazing!” said one of the participant. Some of the Filipino dishes served were Chicken Apritada, Pinakbet, Pansit, Sweet & Sour fish and more.

Jersey City Council President Rolando Lavarro Jr and his family volunteered up early during the breakfast feeding. Young volunteers had their school off this day with the purpose. Miss Teen PAFCOM Krismarie was one of these young volunteers.
